Delete Internet History- How To Protect Your Privacy
Why would you want to delete internet history? You may want to do so because it is a good way to keep your system organized. Why keep outdated search requests cluttering up your computer? There are two main browsers in use in today among computer users-Internet Explorer and Firefox. The instructions for deleting your browsing history are similar for each of these browsers. However, each method will be explained here.
Here is how to delete your Internet 8 browsing history from Internet Explorer 8 if you want to do it before the computer deletes it in twenty days.
Step1- look at the top of your screen. You will see the word TOOLS up there. Click TOOLS. Now you will see a menu.
The menu has several options.
Step 2-The final choice on the drop-down menu is ” Internet Options.” When you click here, you will bring up an option box.
Step3- Now another box appears. You need to go to the “Browsing History” section of this box. It is the second option. Click here.
Step 4- An option box is on your screen. Choose the term “History” in this box. You will now see a check mark beside the word ” History.” At the bottom of this box is a ” Delete” button. Click this button.
Step 5involves watching a cartoon representation of files being disposed of from your computer into a trash can. Just wait until this process is finished. Once the process is done you can still decide to abort the deletion. To do this, click the ” Cancel” button. If you want to complete the deletion, you must now click the OK button.
Your Internet Explorer 8 browsing history is now deleted. Firefox works in a similar way.
1. Open your TOOLS menu.
2. Next go to “Options.” Then press the ” Privacy, ” button.
3. Click where you see “History.” Now choose ” Privacy.”
4. Select ” Clear.”
Your Firefox browsing history is now gone. That was pretty easy, right?
